It's possible to work long and hard on something and not like the final product. This could happen because it didn't turn out well, or as expected, or for any number of reasons. In my case, I was lucky that I DO like Hypatia Academy. A lot. When I first read the whole completed book, cover to cover, I was pleased with how the book came out. Phew!
The follow up question to the one above was: Is there anything you would change? In all honesty, I have to say yes to that. There's a quotation mark missing that kind of bothers me, though I can't remember where, so I guess that's a good thing. But more to the point, there are two or maybe three very short chapters in the book. Those chapters are similar (I'm being vague so there are no spoilers). The thing I would change would be to add another chapter or two just like those.
Nothing is perfect. Overall, I'm very pleased with how Hypatia Academy turned out, and I'm glad that readers are, too!
